TravelMart LatinAmerica 2020 Lima, Peru, originally scheduled in September, was rescheduled to be held “Live” in December 2020 or January 2021. However, now with so much uncertainty about the opening of borders and international flights in several countries, we have no doubt that a live event would be very difficult for all our Buyers and Suppliers. With that said, we are working on new dates to host a live in-person TMLA in September 2021 in Lima, Peru.
As tourism begins to open in Latin America, we believe it’s extremely important to have some form of TMLA, and although a virtual event does not replace being able to meet in-person, under the circumstances we feel it is an essential and valid option to start on the road to recovery.
TMLA Virtual 2020 brings Buyers and Suppliers together in a virtual platform that includes Pre-Scheduled Appointments and informative Educational Sessions. Buyers from international markets have an opportunity to educate and evaluate Latin America products and services and Latin America Suppliers have the platform to update Buyers on their latest products and services.
Virtual Attendance… is restricted to 100 Buyers and 100 Suppliers. Buyers include Tour Operators, Wholesalers, and Meeting Planners from global markets and Suppliers represent Hotels, Receptive Operators, DMC’s, Airlines, Tourism/Promotion Boards, etc. from Central and South America.
The Schedule of Events… includes four (4) days (11:00am to 4:00pm EST) of Educational Sessions and Pre-Scheduled Appointments:
- December 7 (Monday): Welcome Remarks & Presentation, Pre-Scheduled Meetings, Closing Presentation.
- December 8 (Tuesday): Morning Presentation, Pre-Scheduled Meetings, Closing Presentation.
- December 9 (Wednesday): Morning Presentation, Pre-Scheduled Meetings, Closing Presentation.
- December 10 (Thursday): Morning Presentation, Pre-Scheduled Meetings, Closing Presentation.

Virtual Buyer Registration Fee is US$49… and includes attendance for one delegate to all sessions and daily pre-scheduled appointments with Suppliers using the virtual platform. NOTE: Buyers who attend all pre-scheduled appointments will receive a $49 credit towards their TMLA 2021 participation.
Virtual Supplier Registration Fee is US$495… and includes attendance to all sessions, Supplier company profile listing, and daily pre-scheduled appointments with Buyers using the virtual platform. NOTE: Virtual Supplier participation is limited, and it is important to register early.
TMLA Virtual 2020 incorporates the William H. Coleman, Inc. exclusive “SelectMatch” System… and schedules “Perfect-Match,” “Buyer-Requested” and “Supplier-Requested” appointments. Participants simply create their “My Request List” online and a complete appointment schedule will be available online one week prior to the virtual event.
